Chemical Resistance

The material of construction of the wetted parts is not defined by PRO-DO-MIX® and shall be advised by the client. In some cases, PRO-DO-MIX® can recommend the material of construction limited to its experience, however the responsibility of the compatibility of the material of construction according to the liquid and chemicals used is on the client. Specific chemical/corrosion resistance charts can be consulted in order to define the most suitable material of construction and/or lining option.

Several materials of construction and lining options are available for wetted parts:

  • SS 304
  • SS 316L
  • SAF2205
  • SAF2507
  • Abcite® (thermoplastic powder coating) lining, minimum thickness 0,6-0,8 mm, max. liquid temp. 45°C
  • Polypropylene, minimum thickness 2 mm lining (for slow agitators), max. liquid temp. 60°C
  • Polypropylene construction (for fast agitators ADH and ALH), max. liquid temp. 60°C
  • Ebonite® (hard rubber), minimum thickness 4 mm, max. working temp. 70-75°C
